Today we put up our Christmas lights. And I know, I know... we're very bad people for having done so before Thanksgiving. But sometimes, it feels GOOD to be B-A-D.
And personally, I'm ready for Christmas. Maybe not in the organized, got-my-crap together sort of way, but in the man, I'm glad it's Christmastime again kind of way. Ready, that is, after Thanksgiving, of course.
thanks for the reminder...

I was annoyed this weekend when I saw so many of our neighbors putting their lights up. Then they all even turned them on! Couldn't they wait until after Thanksgiving to turn them on? Then again, I decorate the day after Thanksgiving but we woke up to snow this morning and absolutely frigid temps. We'll have to wait until after the snow melts to get ours up. Now I wish we had put ours up last weekend. We may be able to get them up this weekend, maybe not.

I have to say me too when it comes to the "Christmastime feeling". As part of a very close family this time of year makes it all worth while. Especially with the little ones running around. As for organizaiton nobody is every ready...its just like the newly weds who are waiting for the opportune moment to have a kid...News Flash...there is no opportune moment. So for the holiday's sake...
Merry Christmas...before Thanksgiving...
