We have a situation. A sit-u-a-tion.
It seems we have a bit of a tie. This wonderfully unclear photo
is actually just a fraction of this picture
a peek into the cup of a venti iced carmel macciato. Which no doubt surprises you. And makes you very, very thirsty. And WHY IS STARBUCKS NOT ADVERTISING ON MY SITE YET???? [Sorry.]
Both Vanessa and Janelle in IL had similar guesses, both slightly wrong, but nonetheless very close. Vanessa guessed "looking down into a hot cuppa coffee" while Janelle in IL guessed "Lifting the lid up (Just a little) of a cup of a to-go coffee and peering inside. See the steam/foam." So close... and equally wrong in their answers, I felt like I just had to do the right thing and give them each one of these fancy Starbuck's mugs.
Oh, but the award giving doesn't end there. Oh no. I promised a "Most Creative Guess" award, did I not?
It was hard to choose. There was the "little mouse in a the submarine" by Alison, the "ultrasound picture" also by Vanessa and "Big T flushed L-Dub" by Shellster. But I have to give it to Sally whose guesses included "some tupperware with a small skeleton stored inside?" and "the rim of the toilet bowl with one of your kids peeing into it?" Not only were her answers creative, but her craziness is pure Undomestic Diva-style. Over. The. Top. (And proud!) Sally will be receiving one pound of Starbuck's new Guatemalan "Casi Cielo Rich & Elegant Whole Bean Coffee."
Thank you to all those who guessed. Freakin' hilarious - all of you people.
New post tomorrow (Thurs.) morning at 10:00 AM PST.
See you then.
Yah! Yah! I'm a winner! You didn't know you were dealing with such smart, or not so smart in my case, contestants. My husband is lurking in the background cutting sommersaults over my win. Do we have a life? No! So, when we win Starbucks mugs from such a cool chick like you, we get really excited. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

Congratulations to your winners! I had no clue this time until I read their answers and thought, "Yep. That's gotta be it."
And the most creative answers were really entertaining.
Now we have to work on getting Starbucks on board with your site. Do they not know the benefits of advertising on your site? I think a little birdie needs to tell them. I'm warped.
