Really, I'm at a loss for words. So... cue the video, James.
(And yes, I fully admit that making you watch this video of my kids at their weirdest just being them is the equivalent of inviting you over to my house for dinner and then making you watch old slides in the living room of my childhood. And if you feel like complaining about that, to you I'd just like to say, don't be an ungrateful houseguest, asshole.)
At some point, I realize my kids talking about their imaginary animals goes from harmless to a little weird to downright embarrassing like, yo, Megan, you might want ixnay how much you alktay about your idskay. But it hasn't reached that point yet, right?
RIGHT?
I just died because they are so damn cute.
"Maybe we should keep that beaver if it makes good salsa" LMAO
So when's the salsa party?

Adorable! I have three boys too, but mine are older. You are in for lots of fun. Those kids have great imaginations.

freaking awesome.

not only awesome, but hilarious! Loving your kids' imaginations!

I am totally putting you in my feed reader. Your boys SOLD YOUR BLOG to me.
Holy crap, I laughed way too loudly for so late at night. HOW MANY imaginary animals do you have, anyway? And they were so SERIOUS about it!!
Oh, and "Stripssser? Stripppstssteeeer?" What was he saying??
:)

Just wait: some asshat will overdub Christian Bale screaming and the vid will go viral.
(I'm gambling that this post will succeed.)

Okay that's mildly impressive but unless you get an emu that makes tortilla chips there's no really no point to the salsa.
Nacho's at your house!!!!
PS.. you're a super awesome mom!
PPS.. I can come up with some good names for a beaver (*snicker*)

Dude, I love how he argues with you at the beginning. That's so my life.
"what color is that buddy?"
"Gween"
"Are you sure it's not red, little man?"
"NO! IT'S GWEEN! IT'S GWEEN, MOMMA!"
Fine, it's green. Not the hill I'm gonna die on.
P.S. - Your kids are a) super cute, and b) totally utterly imaginatively normal.

This is about 80 kazillion different kinds of awesome. Your boys are better with naming than my 5 yr old (who has Horsey, Horse-Horse, and Horse-Horse-Horse).
Can not WAIT to find out the salsa making beaver's name. Wonder if they can find a chutney making badger out there somewhere. THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES!

My favorite part is probably where you list all the animals and then one suggests that you might have a goldfish, the most entirely possible pet option and you say no, because you don't do fish.
But the 2 horses, the St. Bernard and the beaver were all kinds of reasonable.

Is there such a thing as ranch salsa cause that could be kind of awesome, maybe.

I have four kids. Ages 11, 10, 9, and almost 3. We just sat here watching this and just smiling super wide.
My eldest LOVED when your eldest said, "Oh I got hundreds of hay," and he said he's going to say it ALL. DAY. LONG.

What I find totally awesome isn't the salsa making beaver. It is the fact that all three of them were in agreement about the salsa making beaver. I am the youngest of four, and I don't care if I said the sky was blue there would have been 3 people screaming, "NO, IT ISN'T!" I hope they continue forever having each others' backs!

That is the cutest video EVER!

I have a 13 yo who still gets together with a friend, and then they make up all sorts of ridiculous stories about beavers. And squirrels. Don't know why.

Your kids are the BEST.

So, I just got finished with some chips and salsa RIGHT as I was opening this post and now I'm kinda wondering if MY salsa came from this magical salsa factory deal going on in your back yard.
I don't think the kids are weird, but they should TOTALLY be capitalizing on all that free labor.

Blue shirt is freaking the fuck out about all of the pointy things the beaver. I like when the quiet one is all, "don't worry. we have hundreds of hay."
oh, man! and the tiny one! how cute is he?
